(When I say "parasites" I mean anyone investing in insurance companies and the companies themselves, real estate investors, crypto people, AI investors, food conglomerates that have close to a monopoly, I could go on and on and on and on and on.)

I say those two things because there's like... so many people who get so much money off of being parasites, but I'm supposed to worry about someone wanting enough to eat while they make their art career work???

I wanna try to too. Its hard to envision a path to do so, but they've gotten shafted so hard while the government apparently thinks crypto investors and United Healthcare deserve to live way better. Things are beyond bullshit right now.

Hyperdive is loneliness. You move so fast, you start to leave everyone behind. Your perception of time slows to a crawl as you witness a world that can't keep up with you. You starve because the food doesn't come as fast as you consume it. You achieve speed, at the cost of everything else.

The idea of rent stabilizing doesn't faze me because we are not in a real housing market. We haven't been for so long ever since the idea for using it to make money has been getting more and more popular. I have no idea what the real "market value" of a house really is when you remove the investors.

And really, the big question becomes can we even do this? As long as houses are treated as a commodity to be traded like any other, why not just buy them if you can since demand for them sure as hell isn't gonna stop and sell them to get richer?

Rent stabilizing isn't radical. Its already happening because the people developing and building the homes refuse to admit they didn't read the market correctly and that the price they offer their homes at is not at the actual value of these homes. Its WAY over it. (2/3)
