It's called gerrymandering. It basically lets the representatives choose their electors by modifying the voting districts to favor one political party or the other. It is one of the main reasons why our government is so dysfunctional and our political climate so divisive.

Lifelong Ohioan. It has been sad watching our purple state turn red. We are the Alabama of the north. Columbus is great...fun, welcoming, open-minded. The state government is an embarrassment. We are 55%R-45%D but our Congressional reps will be 80%R-20%D. If you can't win on ideas, rig the game.
