I have called my two republican Senators multiple times to get their reaction to Signalgate and urge them to take action against Hegseth. It took nearly three weeks to get an a wishy-washy form letter back from them that did not address the issue. I will keep calling using their local numbers.

I truly believe that Democratic members of Congress holding town hall meetings either near the boundaries with republican districts or inviting republicans to their town halls is a great idea and a good way to start saving our democracy! Attendance proves it!

I was in error. The USPS has to fund their pension plan 75 years out in a 10 year window.
Additionally, they did get some money from Congress during COVID, but that was a one time deal.

Regarding the USPS. It is not funded by the US Government. They make all of their revenue through the sale of stamps and mailing supplies. The reason they are in the red is that Congress rrquired them to fund their pension plan 50 years out and do it on a 10 year window.

I like how French President Macron put the Felon-In-Chief in his place yesterday by rebuting the Felon's lies about the US providing funding and weapons to support Ukraine's fight against Putin and his imperialistic attempt to take over that country. Priceless!

Yesterday was the ceremonial counting of the Electoral Votes by Congress. It took approximately 40 minutes to do so. There was no rioting, no destruction of government property, no spreading of feces on the floor or walls of the Capitol, no confederate flags, and nobody lost their life.

Never forget that five years ago today an insecure little man who was impeached twice and lost a free and fair election by over 7 million votes incited an attempted coup to try to overthrow our government. NEVER FORGET!
