Plus, the median homebuyer (i.e. one spending $420K on a home) would save around $119 a month (a roughly 5% discount), but, assuming they survived the full term of the mortgage, would pay a around $389K more interest overall (roughly twice as much as with a 30-year mortgage).
Trump's 50-year mortgage would save you about $119 a month while doubling the interest you pay over the long run, UBS estimates | Fortune

That’s not to say they have clean hands. They had to be forced to pay the $5B.

But they were only asking for relief from the lower court’s order to the extent that it required them to pay the additional $4B that exceeded the contingency fund.

Honestly, even if you’re inclined to be hyperjudgmental, you need to understand that the protections against violence that many of us take for granted don’t actually work if we don’t make them available to people who break the law too.

Is there no problem it can’t solve!?!?

Yeah, but I think it mostly just sounds bad because Ohtani is so huge. If Tørd Førgusson or whoever (I don’t know who tf is on the Dodger) had been pitching, the meaning would have been clear, you know?

He was the pitcher that got the loss.
