Well he’s certainly playing consistently well at the moment. But the fact that we have so many options - in every position really - fills me with optimism. We just need to keep them all sharp because they will all be required, esp if we go far in the cups.

He’s not your classic winger, but neither was Freddie. That goal today reminded me a lot of Freddie’s debut goal at Highbury against Man Utd, drifting in off the left. I love Martinelli, but I don’t really see him scoring that goal today & that’s fine because we have variety.

For me, yes. Won’t be for Mikel though and, if we win against Chelsea either way then i’m fine with that.

Maybe. To be honest, I do think complacency creeps in when you start taking things less than 100%, but White, Norgaard, Nwaneri need minutes somewhere.

Sky called him Ljungberg-like & I couldn’t agree more. Managers love players like him, he’s never lacking effort & the way he holds the ball up knitting moves together is another level. £26m - bargain.

It’s fine. Before I had kids of my own I assumed that about 10% of kids were little twats. Now I have kids I realise that it’s closer to 75%. Even my own have their twattish moments.

Most who do are also basing it on zero intel. But a very small minority - eg your Mokbel, McNIcholas, Ornstein, Watts of this world - I would understand them to be doing it because there is a story in it, it is actually news no matter how small.

Isn’t there an element of who the reporter is? There are certain people from whom this could be considered to be insightful (if assumed it comes from info from in the club). Not least because *sometimes* these stories get placed for a reason. Whereas 95% of the time the journo is only clickbaiting.
