We were second best all over the pitch. Only one who can hold his head up is Rice. Tough week though. 2 wins and a draw from those 3 is solid.

I think this is the best Gyokeres has played. He’s showing well, holding up the ball well. And troubling their back line. Should have had a penalty as well.

Ability to rest key players against bottom teams should also factor in here though. We basically had to play our top 11-14 constantly. Rotation with no drop off will help performance against top ten.

Watching Liverpool compared to Arsenal, and the eye test for me is the pace that Liverpool attack the box. Attacking with pace in my mind always leads to defenders having to put in more reckless challenges leading to penalties. Just a theory with no data to back it up! 😂
