«[...] but now our mindset is to win»
So up to now our mindset was to do what exactly? 🤔

Let's face it , this has been coming. The squad is arguably the strongest in Europe but the way Arteta instructs his team to play will get them nowhere. Passing the ball around at the back is not a playing philosophy and today it backfired big time, changed the game and very likely the title race.

Three points, yes, and they're welcome but it looks like the players are afraid of playing football. For how many more games can they hang on to a slender lead, sometimes established by good fortune rather than by design?

Resilience, belief, hard work, togetherness : these are the qualities that Arsenal showed today in order to make sure that their undisputed superiority wouldn't go wasted.
A true statement of intent.
Well done lads and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hats off to the Arsenal ladies for a memorable victory in the Champions League final 🥳⚽️

Bye bye Ipswich fans and good riddance.
Keep booing Saka because your meethead defender tried to break his leg and got sent off. Keep booing superior opposition because your team can't get near the ball.
You're as despicable as those Stoke City supporting thugs.
I hope we'll never play you again.

Great performance by the lads!
Credit where credit is due and hats off to Arteta. I've criticised some of his choices and decisions in the past but he pulled a tactical masterpiece home and away to knock out the fifteen-time European champions.

Results of a Reuters/Ipsos poll done BEFORE the shit hit the fan, the day after Felon Trump's infamous «Aberration Day».
I wonder what the figures could be next time they ask the same questions.

Rocky departed too young, 24 years ago on this day.
He is forever in our hearts ❤️

Makes perfect sense to me 🙂

A win is a win. We needed this one to consolidate a top 5 spot and because the opponents were that filthy lot.
Arsenal made it so frustrating though. It wasn't one of those enjoyable 1-0 wins against a superior side but a festival of missed opportunities to put to the sword an irritating bunch.

Meh! This is my reaction to our dull, soulless display at «Old Toilet» this afternoon.
The title was lost weeks ago, but this was still a good opportunity to inflict more misery on
Man Ure, a really hopeless bunch. And yet Arsenal managed to make them look like world-beaters 🤦🏻‍♂️

8th March is the International Women's Day, an occasion to remember four of the women who changed the world.

Marie Curie - Physicist and Chemist
Rosa Parks - Civil rights movement activist
Simone Veil - Magistrate and politician
Maryam Mirzakhani - Mathematician

President Zelensky deserves a medal for his courage and dignity in front of two despicable thugs and their uneducated lackeys.
Trump & Vance do not want peace and they don't care about Ukraine. They want to kiss their boss's arse, that war criminal who is hiding in Kremlin.
February 28, 2025 at 11:07 PM
Shame on the scumbag Trump and his idiot sidekick Vance. In the history books, this prick will go down as the thug who decided to turn his back on decency, human values and the interest of the country he is supposed to lead and represent only to side with a war criminal.

Realistically, we should look over our shoulders for a top 4 finish. Any talk of the title race is delusional.
February 22, 2025 at 5:16 PM
Thank Heavens we have Nwaneri!
Hats off to Merino for his massive impact.
Playing him as a target man could be the best option till the end of the season.
February 15, 2025 at 2:29 PM
Things for Arteta to do and to reflect on during the break :
1) Explain the offside rule to Trossard and Sterling.
2) Calculate the number of points Arsenal can collect without scoring a goal until the end of the season.
3) Start looking for a free agent who can play in attack.

A statement win.
I love MLS. Since Tierney is leaving, and as much as I rate Calafiori, the #3 shirt should be Lewis-Skelly's.
Partey is back at his best. Today he played with the authority of a top class midfielder that he is.
Rice produced a master class. Hopefully he can do more of the same.
February 2, 2025 at 7:46 PM
It was a scrap but the 3 points are all that matters.
Please, please, please can we bring a proper centre forward and get rid of Havertz. He has less balance than a zebra on roller skates, contributes nothing, doesn't hold the ball and misses all the easy chances put on a silver plate for him.
