There's no major differences between these but it's the most often recorded methods seen by folks in the feral areas or in outskirts of small towns.

The main side effect being that they run the risk of being easily enthralled by the Rubbermon who originally caused it. Similar to a salazzle in simple terms and sometimes folks are forced to collect the enthralled folks if the horde grows too much.

A Tar shot has one major issue and is a reason for a DNR file for folks.

The excess material tends to leech everything possible from the organic bits before its encased which means if the person is revived from that state they're most likely corrupted by that material and be turned into a Rubbermon

Tar shots are collected typically for a source of income because folks still want them retrieved in the event that someone they knew was consumed.

The Regen folks pay out the cash and the person who brought it in is given rights to any valuables within to incentive collections of them despite risks
