a bundle of unusual japanese controllers have appeared on ShopGoodwill. The Joyball, from HAL Laboratories of Kirby fame, replaced the NES' d-pad with a large, easy to manipulate sphere. Meanwhile, the HyperShot controllers for MSX were produced by Konami for its track and field games.

the megalithic Xbox Steel Battalion controller has appeared on Shop Goodwill

a Rock Band 3-branded Squire Stratocaster MIDI guitar has appeared on Shop Goodwill. Designed for use with the Xbox 360 version of RB3 (via MIDI adapter, sold separately), this whole-ass guitar can also be used traditionally with an amplifier, or as a MIDI controller for a synthesizer or computer

not a video game but extremely worth talking about, a NIB "Body Rap" system has appeared on ShopGoodwill. I swear to God, the way this thing works is that you strap a bunch of buttons to various parts of your body and then continuously slap yourself to set off drum machine samples.

the LJN Video Art has appeared on shopGoodwill. Released in 1987 and discontinued two years later, the Video Art was a dedicated drawing console with a library of nine activity cartridges, including "Marvel Super-Heroes" and "My Favorite Doll"

The console itself can be seen in greater detail here -- it is a rectangular white box with five buttons on the top, along with a slot for the controller to rest in. The controller itself is a single oversized joystick, two buttons and a slot for the cartridge. Once the cartridge is inserted, the controller is roughly the size and shape of a television remote of the era, save for the enormous joystick, of course. a photo of the contents of the box, showing that not only is the styrofoam intact, but so is everything else that goes in it. The console appears to be in mint condition, and the original written materials -- registration card, manual, etc -- are still present in their plastic wrapping.

a Team Xecuter modified original Xbox has appeared on ShopGoodwill. Produced in limited numbers by the infamous hacker group of the same name, this extremely rare faceplate unlocks additional features of the group's Xecuter 3 mod chip, and adds an LCD screen, LAN/HDD status lights, and two USB ports

The face plate has been replaced with the modified control panel described above, which adds five buttons to the left side and an LCD screen to the right side, along with two USB-A ports. There are also small LED lights to indicate HDD and LAN activity, as well as an IR sensor for one of the Xecuter 3 Infra Red Kit, which allowed for the Xbox to be turned on/off with its media remote, as well as a light-up Xecuter 3 logo to indicate that the mod chip was functional. a sealed Japanese copy of Capcom Fighting Jam for PlayStation 2 has appeared on Shop Goodwill. Considered one of the worst fighting games Capcom ever released, Fighting Jam was a crossover game featuring characters from Street Fighter, Darkstalkers and Red Earth.

the Miracle Piano Teaching System for NES has appeared on ShopGoodwill. Released for a number of systems, this educational game/MIDI keyboard combo connected to the NES via proprietary cable. The included lessons were closer to Math Blaster or Mavis Beacon than traditional music education software.

An RCA Studio II "Home TV Programmer" has appeared on Shop Goodwill. Released in 1977, this cartridge-based system had black and white graphics, built-in number pad controls, extremely rudimentary monophonic sound, and was discontinued after a single Christmas shopping season.

A prototype controller for the original Xbox, the "Dakota Pad," has appeared on ShopGoodwill. These controllers were used by developers prior to the console's launch and were never released to the public.
