Christian was surrendered to a Louisiana shelter after getting fired from his junkyard job for being "too friendly." This is him spending a night at our place during his three day transport adventure to Take Me Home rescue in Idaho. He was friendly indeed! ♥️

Miss B was supposed to have been pregnant when she was discovered at a caretaker's feral site, but after waiting weeks for the wee ones to arrive, we took her to the vet who concluded she wasn't pregnant, just fluffy. Turns out she's not that feral, either. Loving the indoor life now.

Winston is the only dog allowed unsupervised in the bunny run. That's Peaches by his side and she's the friendliest rescue in our fluffle.

This is Cinnamon, and she is not afraid to take full advantage of her free range privileges. She's also the best grasshopper catcher in the flock.

I want to trim that white whisker so bad, but it's one of the best ways to tell him apart from the other kitties.

Shadow is the reason we get visited by every neighbor girl within a 6 block radius. And he's not even that friendly.

Two of the newest girls to join our senior retirement flock after their egg production dropped and were no longer welcome on their farm. Known as "the new girls" since we can't usually tell them apart.

Meet my other true love Winston. He's also a foster fail who made his home here after being returned from three trial adoptions. (Really two and a half, because one of them didn't make it out of the driveway before deciding he was not for them.)

This is Olive, rescued from the local shelter that was over capacity begging for help getting dogs out. She has since become a local celebrity with cashiers & customers at Maverik, Home Depot, Cal-Ranch and Tractor Supply. I am holding her favorite bouncy ball.

This is Don Diego who was technically never "born." His feral mom was part of a trap, neuter, return program. When the vet discovered near full term kittens during her spay surgery, they attempted resuscitation and placed the survivors in foster care. My favorite foster fail ever. :)

Harvey's other bff is Charlie the doodle from next door. Charlie braves his electric fence to sneak over for play dates. (He knows how to open our back door, so he's just being polite right now.)

This is the "feral" mom of five kittens hiding out in the sewer drain next to the local market that no one could catch. I won her over with crispy KFC (in a live trap). Two years later and we're besties now.
