been forever since I’ve had to make an account from scratch. I’m a blue dot in a red state most of the people in my life don’t see anything wrong with don the con just wanting a sense of community, it sucks being alone. I’m pretty private, hence no picture. Seeing Trump voters freak out about data centers and ai and not being able to connect the dots is frustrating. Trump doesn’t want any regulation so maybe don’t vote Republican, it’s not that hard.

When the shutdown started snap wasn’t even thought of as a weapon to be used by the mad king. If this passes and everything dems will have secured snap for a year. It’s not a total loss.

My dog is getting older fast. He is the first dog that I have owned myself, all the others have been family dogs. This is the second hardest part of being a dog owner… literally last year he was running around chasing balls. Now he can’t. I wish, like we all do, that they lived longer… #dogs

Never used any OpenAI products, don’t plan on it either. Humans over AI It’s on us to not use the products these tech bros try to push down our throats. We unfortunately cannot rely on our government to regulate. Money talks though. Boycott AI. #boycott

I’ve seen several posts now, one from Eric swalwell, saying up to 100 republicans in the house will “defect” from maga once the Epstein files are released. Personally I doubt the files are going to show anything that damaging to Trump. They have had enough time to alter the documents.

As a anti trump left leaning centrist the nyc mayor thing. I wish I could care less but some of those policies are fantasy. Freezing rents will end up in less housing. Operating expenses (insurance taxes maintenance) go up even if you freeze rents. Owners of buildings will then go broke.foreclosure

Dems better be careful with messaging regarding Iran. Personally I don’t want Iran to have nukes, don’t want anyone to have them. It would be cool if Iran was a democracy and safe/fun to visit or live in. This admin can’t handle text messages let alone regime change.

Probably a wildly unpopular opinion but… they need to redo or turn into a series the original Star Wars movies. Not saying the originals are bad just tech has improved movies so much. Certain storylines in the first movie like Kenobi just casually telling Luke his dad was a Jedi? No big deal?
