On the plus side it’s nice he can get his feet wet there and then if OSU or NFL pulls Freeman away ND can grab Rees. I honestly don’t hate that insurance policy/ how mad it would make Michigan.

Very interested how related those two things are to each other in terms how/when the firing decision was made, but I suspect we will never know.

I think it’s worth noting the incident took place at 4:10 and word he was fired broke at 4:45

He is the nicest guy in the world. I was in his daughter’s class he came to school one day and took time talking to everyone. I ripped a project I had off the wall and had him sign it. Still have it. Rooting for him always.

Navy also wants the game off campus because it’s a huge revenue generator for them. That what would be 5. Playing Wisconsin at Lambeau is giving up a home game on campus for ND. So they only have 6 home games instead of 7 like everyone else.

They don’t want to play the game anymore and if they do they don’t want it to be on campus. Next year is scheduled to be a USC home game but they don’t want to play it at home - if they play at all.
