Disagreement is OK, but you have to actually engage with the point being made.
Your response is a non sequitor.... It does not logically follow from what Roxane said, which kinda defies your claim that you understand her point.

... Alternatively, the setting could be changed so that all follow requests have to be manually accepted.

They should redefine follow as a handshake... One account makes a request to follow and the other account has to accept for it to count. The request and acceptance would both be published on separate records. It could be made so that accept is "default" setting but you can withdraw to remove them

It might be helpful to explain in laymen's terms what 2152, 1825, and 2154 mean

There could be settings that allow either automatic or manual approval of follow requests, and ones that withdraw approval to force unfollow. The list would simply indicate the history, that one side initiated a follow, and the other side either did not approve, or later rejected it.

But there should be a way of disassociating unwanted accounts from your profile, even if you can't force remove yourself from someone else's list. It should be like a handshake, where one person initiates and the other approves. Approval could be made a "default" setting that can be changed later

It was a joke, he was only pretending to be offended

I think the audience of undecided voters should've been larger than 60 tbh... 100 would've been better

Twitter is not the only social media site that uses the check mark... it's widely used, e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok are just some examples

I don't see the issue... It's a symbol that people recognize and understand. Other sites (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok) use that symbol too. It's not solely a X/Twitter thing.

I just have a distaste for the vengeful glee that some Blue voters have when they hear about bad things happening in Red states (e.g. Restrictive abortion laws, healthcare rollbacks). They act as though 100% of the state voted the same way, so they all deserve collective punishment or something 🤷‍♂️
April 13, 2025 at 12:01 PM
The issue is the consequences are felt by those who voted for and didnt vote for Trump alike.

Just as all states will suffer, including blue states, everyone in red states will suffer including blue voters. The attitude "you get what you voted for" does not apply to X% voters in red states

You should be included there honestly

I've never played it, but does the answer seem obvious in hindsight?

I think what he means is the President doesn't have inherent power in the Constitution to impose tariffs. Meaning, he can currently do it but Congress can change the law to limit it.

Yeah a joke. It's normally 300 characters not 299.

Can someone explain what he is achieving by doing this? Is there a desired outcome in mind? Is there something he is blocking/preventing?
April 1, 2025 at 2:37 PM
It's a amazing how gullible people are! 😭
April 1, 2025 at 12:23 AM
How so? It is obviously a joke regardless of the date... There is no way any non-gullible person would think this is real
April 1, 2025 at 12:22 AM
The number of gullible people in the replies is embarrassing. Even if you forgot it was April 1st, the post is clearly a joke?
April 1, 2025 at 12:20 AM
It's a constitutional issue
March 30, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Ah k, no worries, it's ok. I thought you were trying to make a point rather than a funny quote
March 29, 2025 at 11:21 PM
Point being? In Australia, we don't really have many huge marches/protests on the capital Canberra either. Protests against unpopular governments mostly occur locally, e.g. Outside state parliaments etc.
