We have been fed images from the time we were young on what is appropriate, nice, beautiful, etc., so it's not surprising. People need to be shown the downside. I struggled when my city outlawed pesticides, and I saw mine and my neighbour's lawn full of weeds. However, we need to relearn beauty.

Thanks for sharing. I don't have the answer for farming, but at least we can stop using pesticides for lawn and gardens as well as golf courses. That is unnecessary risk for temporary reward of what we have been told is beautiful, manicured lawns. Just one idot's opinion.

Yes, the power of the mind is amazing. Next time you are feeling good about life, love, yourself, etc, write down what made you feel that way, how it feels, etc. Remind yourself of this on your down days. Mindset is so important. BTW, love the royal purple.

I am too satisfied. Weed killers are outlawed here, so most people have given up. Now you just mow the lawn very short. Weeds in the garden need to be hand "satisfied"(lol).

Lovely picture of the raspberries. I go for a walk every day, and I come across blackberry trees in three separate locations. I stop for snacks at each one, making sure I only take a few and leave the rest for the next day. I love that part of my walk.
