Try to find peace in the journey. If not, you will still have a journey to take, but less peace while taking it.

Find that space that brings you peace and embrace it.

No matter where you are from, what you look like, or what you believe, you can choose to be a good human. Take care of each other. A flower can bloom through the winter if it is well cared for.

Sometimes, flowers bloom into the night. They are harder to see, but just as gorgeous. Keep being beautiful in the dark. The sun will rise again.

I haven't posted in a while, I hope y'all are doing okay. Sometimes, it's tough being a light when darkness is all around you. That's often because we can't see ourselves shining... but remember that others can. Be the light, even when you can't see it.

Combining flour, oil, and water is a special thing. They are all so different, but when put together, they are the core of a delicious gumbo. It's not so different with humans, really. If we can find a way to combine our differences, we can end up with a dish that will feed our humanity.

Being a good human looks different to everyone. Remember that doing the best we understand how to do is still making a difference. There is no "right" way to do good, so encourage others to do their best even if you don't understand what good looks like to them.

A new year brings hope that we can make this year better than the last. Be the good you want to see in the world.

Another day on Bluesky, another post about the importance of being a good human. Rainbows have always meant different things to different people. In reality, they are simply light shining through rain. Be the light that makes a rainbow in someone else's storm. We all need hope.
