Exactly!! I’m big on scarves and shawls and blankets—they can be complex but still don’t have to fit anyone!

I’ve been reconnecting to my spirit and walking this amazing labyrinth every day.

Someone in my local native plant FB group (10/10 recommend) mentioned “bloomscrolling,” and I think it’s a delightful word and activity.

Oh it’s so much fun! I planted a bunch of milkweed in containers last year & had good success, but this year has been a bonanza. I’ve had at least 3 generations already, and just had 9 run off to become butterflies in the last few days. It brings me great joy, along w my pots of native flowers.

That’s half of the quote, not the thrust of the article. The science is girls brains mature earlier, including impulse control and emotional regulation. Again, that doesn’t mean it should be used to penalize them.

Oh man, we have California poppies everywhere. And people in my area have been gradually planting native and this year is a bonanza! Good eye on the phacelia! We have a bunch of different kinds. There’s also a good bit of arroyo lupine. Here are a few more beauties from that day.

That’s just lovely. I’m so glad our constitutional crisis is happening in spring, because the profusion of wildflowers on my hikes makes me absolutely giddy with joy.

Just a reminder that BLM protests were almost universally peaceful and violence often caused by counter protesters and police aggression.

Sending love. The ugliness is overwhelming sometimes, but there is also still great beauty.

Beautiful!! I agree that nature’s beauty is the best medicine. I found an endangered Nevin’s barberry on my last hike. Made my day.

I watched this a million times in high school and can basically recite the whole thing. I have a post it on my recycle bin reminding me of which plastics I can put in, and I think you’ll get why it makes me laugh every day.

Everything is going to hell in a hand basket, but I saw two different monarch butterflies laying eggs on my native milkweed. #GrowHope #FindJoy

I’m devastated that this no longer exists, but the beautiful thing is that it comes back. Next year I’ll be keeping an eye out for pioneer plants.

You may have higher moral standards than I, but I did get them off Amazon. Super high quality. The 16oz ($20) lasts a really long time! I put some in an old tea tin and keep the big bag in the closet.
