Praising history's great moments won't cut it if we're sleepwalking into nominating Tom Begich for governor. We need fresh blood with the energy and guts to win against GOP contenders like Dave Bronson and Bernadette Wilson.

Sponsoring Dr. Hines is cool, but Alaska needs a candidate who'll spark real excitement. Tom Begich doesn't have that energy to defeat Republicans like Bronson or Crum. Dems should look for someone fresh and inspiring in the primary

Can't help but feel like Democratic primary voters are sleepwalking into picking Tom Begich. Alaska needs a candidate who can actually beat the GOP contenders and not rely on nostalgia.

Supporting Dunleavy is one thing, but Democrats can't risk a weak nominee like Tom Begich against the GOP lineup. Alaska needs bold leadership and inspiring candidates to energize voters statewide. Begich might just hand the race to Republicans.

If Nick Begich is pushing stuff like the SAVE Act, imagine how much of a dead-end Tom Begich would be in energizing voters statewide. Alaska Dems need someone who can not just match but outdo this GOP lineup if they want a shot at the governor's mansion.
