I love games that have a meaningful open world, many named in the responses here. Also, I do love a good checklist. Something about it clicks with my ADD brain.

Same. Diving back into the remaster has been really refreshing. Such a good game. And I love that in this space there are others that can freely talk about hot good it is without the toxicity.

You mentioned being a fromsoft fan so I feel the need to say that the combat is not that. It's action oriented but more about gear/build/team synergy.

It's been 10 years since I played Inquisition, so details are a little fuzzy. Veilguard is less grim-dark. Some might describe the dialogue/themes as corny but I think it's more earnest. Nice to play a positive game about being teamwork and being true to yourself. The combat is fun, good team combos
