If they oppose something, it is probably because it would benefit US. We are seeing a transformation from the Labor/Middle/Upper Class structure to a Labor & Consumer Class/Executive Management Class/Oligarch model.

Many of our class side with the Upper Class against the labor class, having convinced ourselves to cleave to a philosophy which doesn't benefit us in the least. That's how thoroughly we've been brainwashed. Remember: Executive Management only has loyalty to the bottom line.

Why? For higher wages and the illusion of power within the Corporate construct. It was a bad trade. We lack the power or financial stability of the Upper Class and less protection than the Labor Class. Our salaries, higher than the wages of most of the Labor Class, still leave many of us struggling.

So, Happy Labor Day! Maybe next year we can celebrate with a general strike that brings the human centipede that is the Oligarchy to its multitudinous knees.

Fortunately there are plenty of hotdogs to go around and buckets of beer from companies that haven't earned the blind hatred of a radicalized mob of Sundays Only moralists, incensed at the idea someone might eschew the narrow ideals they pay lip service to, like lampreys on a democracy eating shark.

The 5-day work week is nonexistent for most Americans, who are forced to work 2 or 3 jobs to pay for beans, beer, and board. Child labor laws are eroding. A new working class of exists only to dodge hourly wages and standardized work weeks by tacking the word "manager" to the end of a job title.
