It's also super resonant to me that Worm is all about escalation. I think the fundamental logic underpinning the Zizian movement is more informed by Worm than is obvious (but it's also fair to say that the whole Rationalist community was similarly oriented).

The Dems are controlled opposition and always have been.

You can't be an effective Left party if you're beholden to moneyed interests. You can't be progressive and anti-communist at the same time.

It's the only reason the Dems wouldn't follow their own constituency as we move Left.

I also think we might need to consider shifting the expectations a little bit. Maybe not *everyone* in a society has to direct their attention with equal intentionality.

I think you rate Lando much higher than I do. I don't feel like he would have taken a meaningful lead at any point if we swapped the cars.

You'll notice that he's only this aggressive when it benefits his season. He's not hyperfocused on any one race. He's doing the math and weighing the risk of penalty, etc.
