I think accusing Jesse of "blindly hating" is just ingenuous. Have you actually read any of his substack or listened to his podcast? I haven't heard him say a single hateful word, unlike the vitriol of the people attacking him based on their projections of what they think he is.

I have to say, blindly hating and striking out against things that you don't understand or are just making assumptions about makes you quite similar to the MAGA crowd. Bluesky seems very Trumpy in flavor, though the details are perhaps reversed. The rigid dogma following here is off the charts.

I've already been blocked by 266 people because I follow Jesse Singal, a podcaster that (among other things) covers issues around gender-affirming care with a nuanced eye. (He's not opposed to it, but even having a vague nuance in opinion has gotten him cancelled and hated by many.)
