TBF, it's on a par with previous Olympics. The drone footage has been used wisely in this event. That can't be said for some of the other events. Missing key action due to poor choice of shots has been rife. Drone footage on some of the skiing has been nauseating.

This👆. This 1000%. If the 'defund' the BBC twats ever got their way, Television will be hundreds of channels of dross and adverts and to get any nugget of brief quality will require another subscription

It is amazing and stands up to repeat viewings. Some of it your brain accepts what you are seeing is 100% real. The rest is 99% close enough.

I remember the total of what they had raised being revealed by 'comedy' Dave in a very low- key way live on TV, and Moyles berating him on air afterwards for not building it up. Also, Fearne Cotton appearing awkwardly in a swimming costume when a total had been reached.

Educate, entertain and inform. Wish there were programmes such as QED and Horizon on TV today. Explaining sometimes complex subjects in a non-condescending way with just a narrator and clips of experts explaining.
