At this point, the Dem party is finished for me. Anyone running in future races ought to change from D to I because Dems have now cemented themselves as weak—and even stupid. Plus, Independents carry zero political baggage. We need a new party, well, there already is one. Use it!

He's probably still drinking at night, and the stress of that job and knowing he's an incompetent fool means he's probably hitting the sauce even harder than before. And then he's doing coke or maybe meth during the day to function. This is very comforting, isn't it?

The flood warning was posted by the NWS at approx 1 am, the water rose at 4am. This is a failure of local leadership--on a busy holiday on the river.

Hate to say it, but I agree on this one. Pharmaceutical companies pimping their drugs on national tv & internet has probably caused, among other things, an explosion of hypochondriacs & armchair Drs. I hope it happens.

I’m wondering what they know that we don’t. There is clearly information that changed his mind. I think that many of us reacted with fury, but we perhaps need to keep in mind that most of us are not in government and we don’t have access to the kind of info that they do. We don’t know everything.
