Besides, you can keep the older version while you install the new one so its just a matter of launching the old one if updating doesn't turn out well for you

The addons should mostly work, if not then there is probably an update for it already if you go to 4.5. Not sure about 5 but your projects should also work most likely. I see some people mention that EEVEE shades differently in older Blender releases though so if you render in that one, it will show

Cute little doodle! They can only dream about ever being able to do anything like this as this takes more effort than just bashing the keyboard. Honestly, its kinda sad how some people forgot how to enjoy their lives these days.
