I think publishing twice a month during the late 80’s/early 90’s was a mistake. Looking back, the swapped artists and rushed work did more harm to the book than good. Claremont might have even survived on the book longer (to 300?) if they just stuck to a consistent monthly schedule.

Thoughts?

It was Awesome way before everyone was doing these alternate-reality-reset-button stories.

Claremont would have had House of M wrapped up in 2 issues, and it would have rocked.
