As someone who plays public golf on Long Island, including Bethpage, you have my very sincere thanks for doing this. Hopefully this leads to the state caring enough to actually do something about it.

There might be certain situations where a runaway blowout works. But generally speaking I think there needs to be competition up until the very end for it to be exciting.
