#lufc CANNOT defend a lead at the moment. We look so much better when we try to attack than we do when we try to defend a lead. The old adage "Attack is the best form of defence", is so apt for this squad. We need to have a philosophy of a 1 goal lead is never enough.

There is an old saying, "Attack is the best form of defence". It seems particularly apt for #lufc when we are leading. We CANNOT sit and defend a lead.

Unfortunately with SCR coming in #lufc Club turnover becomes vital to even think about competing. An expanded stadium will be essential to even tread water in the future. Turnover is going to become the golden metric from now on.

The trouble is if #lufc don't get out quickly the relegation zone becomes a morass that will sucks the confidence and life out of the club. The longer we are down there the harder it will be to break out. Basic EPL physics I'm afraid.

Who are the 3 teams that are/ will be worse than #lufc over the rest of the season? Teams around us will get unexpected results. We need to get points away from home pretty sharpish or I fear we are in danger of getting cut adrift this early on the season 😞.

#lufc seemed so ponderous in possession. Passing was woeful and their press caused us problems all match. The current trajectory is down at the moment.

#lufc currently like a piece of detritus circling the drain. Too negative with the ball, no urgency in press, struggling to go past players and holes in defence. We will be deep in the zone around Xmas. Hope 4th worst team is within catching distance come Jan and we can inject some power upfront.

Need to try and drag from 14 down into a mini league and endeavour to get #lufc into the top half of that mini league. Need different tactics for both home and away.

We seem to have a negative mindset away from home, passing backwards and killing momentum too many times. This invites the press and we are making too many errors to play out. #lufc needs a different game plan away from home. Shocking that these goals were all cutbacks into unmarked players in space

Think we now realise #lufc needs to be at the top half of the mini league of 14 down. It's getting to the stage, this early in the season, that we need to keep an eye on the results of those around us.

If he is at the helm of #lufc and takes us down this year, he will never be trusted by any future EPL team again. This year is pivotal to his reputation as well as our immediate future. If we go down we may as well kiss the stadium upgrade good bye for quite a while.

The issue is we don't know what the current situation is regarding how close we are to any limit, we only know our limit is lower than the established EPL clubs. Sales and offloads obviously help but the real position will remain in house not to allow other clubs intelligence on our finances. #lufc
