In 2023 the City Museum received a donation of 8mm home movies from the Stonehouse Family who lived in Juneau from the 1920s–1950s. Their movies include visits to the Mendenhall Glacier, downhill skiing, and the 4th of July parade and soap box derby race.

In 2023 the City Museum received a donation of 8mm home movies from the Stonehouse Family who lived in Juneau from the 1920s–1950s. Their movies include visits to the Mendenhall Glacier, downhill skiing, and the 4th of July parade and soap box derby race.
Tonight at 7pm, Gold Town Theater, in collaboration with the City Museum, presents a Not-So-Silent Film compilation of historic Juneau home movies. The film will be accompanied by live music composed and performed by Bob Banghart and David Hunsaker.
