The Commonwealth Fund reported that in the 1st 2 years of COVID vaccine availability, 3.2 million US deaths and 18 million hospitalizations were averted by vaccination. If the Secretary is unaware or unsure of these facts, share them and ask him, “How might this impact your decisions re ACIP? 2/2

I have been thinking about this. I might actually start by asking the Secretary about o his understanding of the impact of COVID vaccine on deaths and hospitalizations. Facts - The CDC has reported that there have been over 1.25 millions deaths from COVID in the US since the pandemic began. 1/2

@aoc.bsky.social Ask, “How important is it to ensure that the current CDC Immunization Schedule, based on ACIP recommendations, is supported by HHS?” If he does not say “not at all important”, f/u with, “What makes it somewhat important (use his words)?”, and then restate his response.
