Absolutely superb Bruce. Really good investigative journalism, and bloody good telly to boot. Unfortunately some of the stuff is not far removed from some of the stuff I have come across over the years, admittedly not to that level of violence, but similar criminality.

Great record. Used to see him regularly playing pinball in the bar on the corner of Broad Street and Gas Street, or it might have been Oozells Street in the summer of ‘92 and ‘93. Even persuaded him to have a beer with us once or twice.

Cheers Kev. I haven’t really been concerned about my weight….really it’s been about exercise as much as anything. I’ve religiously done over 10k steps since 12th January. It’s hard keeping it up, especially with a desk job and staying in hotels in town centres, but I’m happy 👍

The old Boost is fantastic mate. I’ve been working away for about 15 weeks now, and despite a diet of takeaways, followed by a largely vegetarian diet at the weekend, I’ve lost about 2” off my waist, at least I had when I was walking Barnsley hills. Warrington isn’t quite as forgiving.
