i somehow stopped tearing mine apart and now that they’re longer it’s been a dream when playing acoustic. i need to trim my left hand a bit tho cause i’m having some trouble catching on frets when i slide

i think if did very well, i had it in with one of my furry blankets and used fabric softener along with the detergent and used a dryer sheet while drying. it was dark and lonely in those treacherous waters but it survived! very soft and smells great :))

for drying i used the next to lowest possible setting, so low heat and did it in short intervals checking on it to not overdue it. drying took about an hour overall

it did try to bunch up a little and i was able to shake the poly fill to where it needed to be while it was damp. shark already had some issues with that in the fins and tail area from cuddling it so much and washing didn’t make it any worse or better, it would need re-stuffing in those areas

for washing i used cold/warm water and a delicate cycle. so, lowest spin speed and also a minimal amount of water to try and not get the poly fill too soaked. if you’ve ever tried to wash a pillow this will happen if it gets too wet and the pillow will come out lumpy

according to the symbols on the tag it is, im doing it on a delicate cycle and cold/warm and gonna dry it on a very low setting. i’ll post an update on how it goes!
