Overall I think it was a good change because Pinocchio was originally about a boy becoming a human. And P, Carlo, and Romeo being younger makes the events of the game more tragic.

"Older P" had shorter straight hair, thinner lips, and older/more masculine facial features. Compared to "Youger P" who has longer curly hair, slightly fuller lips and just has softer features in general compared to Older P. Pics for comparison between them.
