Good news: it's single digits after wind chill today, and they seem entirely unfazed. I gave them some warm water and they didn't even seem to care. They aren't even huddled, they're just bopping around like normal. Two of them laid eggs this morning!

They're all cold-hardy breeds, so they should be fine. They don't seem bothered yet! At worst, I may have to get a heated water bowl. Or if I'm really nice, maybe a panel heater. But I won't have to make that call until it starts to get below 0.

I think we had a similar turnout to the "Hands Off" protest, which is still pretty impressive! Always would have liked more, but I think a lot of Illinois folks went to protest in Chicago.

My cataloging accomplishment for the week was that yesterday at Gay Karaoke, a regular was showing off a copy of her self-published book, and I convinced her to give it to me for the library's local author collection. 😂 I'll original catalog it today, I had some others I needed to do anyway.
