What you should do in protest isn't "not tipping", it's not going to the business that relies on tips. I don't go to restaurants that rely on tipping. I've never liked tipping.

To add onto this, the way someone gets more followers is to post things people want to see, not following someone else and hoping/asking them to follow them back, as if following is some kind of trade/exchange.
