History never repeats itself, but when it comes to the New York Times, clearly appeasement does.

might be because it also appears on an official govt website: uscis.gov

Kosher salt is just mined, industrial salt. No reason to use it. Just use good quality sea salt.

In her full-throated defense of Nuzzi, I think she fails to address the main criticism in the press, which is not her "affair" with RFK Jr., but a breach of journalistic ethics: feeding him "kompromat" that others might be about to use against him.

Great episode. Perhaps not quite enough focus on Jikeli’s German (or European) perspective; what passes for free speech in the US might very well land you in jail in Germany. Particularly if found to be antisemitism.

Even worse is her whitewash of Francesca Albanese, an antisemite who constantly lies about Israel: www.nytimes.com/2025/10/16/o...

Lunacy, but what should one expect from regime TV?

Ms. Rachel may not be an antisemite, but she equivocates, traffics in lies, and parrots Hamas propaganda as truth.

@joshyunis.bsky.social - the article is paywalled, so it is hard to understand the argument. I had to cancel my Ha'aretz subscription because they were platforming the worst rhetoric of the antizionist left. So they are part of the problem Leifer is talking about.

Both the substack article and ‪@phoebebovy.bsky.social‬ 's interview were both excellent. Rarely are there good critiques of the new mayor from the left. Don't necessarily agree with all of Standing Together's statements, but that is a minor issue.

No, they didn't, but Ross Douthat ruined the New York Times.

But Allen's interviewer, who is clearly anti-Israel and antisemitic (the dual loyalty trope of having to comment on a foreign country, specifically Israel.) and asking about "the genocide in Gaza" - Luis Martinez is the problem, not Allen refusing to answer.

I re-read the article and it does touch on NY mayors (and if you needed further confirmation of Mamdani's views look at the antisemite Jeremy Corbyn chiming in to support him because they are both "anti-Israel"). I could live without the counter-zionist Shaul Magid and Woody Allen, as well. TBC
