Reminds me of historical crackdowns from our involvement around the world, El Salvador, Chile, etc. my Naval officer dad and mom had The Ugly American on our selves. Watching Ken Burns American Revolution just shows our roots were begun in exploitation. It’s inhumane.

I grew up during the polio epidemic. So did my parents. We had relatives affected by the disease. As a child, the iron lung life deeply upset me. This is insanity.

That is not right. I was a teacher and saw how each person blossomed in time. No matter the age of the student, we are meant to learn.

In my family, many of the males took tharoute through community college and all achieved professional degrees and careers. The females started out strong, going into 4 yr colleges, achieved professional degrees. It doesn’t matter how you get there, just that the path to knowledge is open.

So common that some people just do not see it, or want to see it. It's pervasive. I was a teacher/counselor and saw how adults turned a blind eye.
