Our Y10 BTEC Performing Arts students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a theatre workshop led by The Paper Birds theatre company. This enriching experience allowed pupils to engage with a professional, enhancing their skills & creativity as part of this inspiring learning programme.

This weekend, hard work & dedication paid off. Ethan proudly secured himself a gold medal in the 200m Butterfly & 2 silver medals in the 200m Backstroke & 200m Freestyle. He also qualified for the Lancashire County Swimming Champ, set to take place in February. Great work!

Congratulations to our Year 8 pupil, Leah, who achieved an incredible milestone just before Christmas! Leah took her grading exam with the English Karate Academy and was awarded her 1st Kyu Brown & Double White Belt, placing her just one step away from earning her black belt. Outstanding!

Miss Clegg's Food Technology class embarked on a culinary adventure, diving into the art of baking with flair. From planning and baking to decorating and presenting, using fresh ingredients, they crafted vibrant, mouthwatering desserts that could easily grace the menu of a high-end restaurant.

A huge congratulations to Tia-Elise for earning her first cap and goal playing for the England Women’s Under-15 team! Tia and her team showcased incredible talent, winning all three of their international fixtures against Iceland, Switzerland, and Norway. Fantastic! #football #england #sport

'Choose Respect' is this years Anti-bullying theme. Pupils were challenged to write inspiring poems on this topic. The best entry from each class was selected, & an overall winner was chosen.

Yesterday, we hosted our combined World of Work Day and annual Careers & Apprenticeship Evening. This inspiring event offered our pupils the chance to connect with representatives from a diverse range of businesses, local colleges, further education institutions, and training providers.
