Maria Corina Machado is so desperate to become president that she would give away her Nobel Peace Prize. Be wary of those who seek power.

It’s barely been 3 days into 2026 and it’s already worse than 2025.

So you’ve captured Maduro, now what? What evidence do you have against him? You’ve literally been blowing up all evidence you claim to have in the Atlantic Ocean. What kind of trial is this going to be and in what state of authoritarianism are we in that a judge is gonna be cool with this?
January 3, 2026 at 3:23 PM
I don’t believe we need to twist ourselves all over to defend an authoritarian government’s sovereignty. Those authoritarian governments are repressive, but that does not give us the right to invade and determine their course. But we also shouldn’t argue Maduro was a fairly elected good man.

Stranger Things Season 5 feels like it has come too late. Nostalgia has already begun to shift towards the 90s and whatever energy this series originally had dried up with its long hiatus between seasons.

All Ted Sarandos had to do right now was put people at ease, but instead a he was like “I’m gonna burn it all to the ground.”

I don’t understand how a merger of this size is even profitable. There are so many parts to this that make it seem even more unwieldy than it already was. Like how much is Netflix going to cost now? You now have one company having to do the work of two companies.

How does money even work anymore?

Scarlett Johansson does not need to be in every movie. The Batman doesn't need her to be in it. These are big enough movies that'll do just fine without a big name start. Give these roles up to actors that could use the spotlight to build a career from.
