9/10) This a basic rundown of the 3 main factions that you can side with for endings, but there is a 4th option in New Vegas. That 4th option is you/an independent New Vegas. Where take over New Vegas and decide what factions stay or go.

8/10) the people who aren't well off residing in Flipside, Where people are struggling to survive. We witness these problems but we also see that its one of the most stable and advanced civilisations in all the wasteland.

7/?) The problem with houses society is it filled with corruption (with multiple gangs running things while house does nothing and just watches) and a massive classism (based on finances) issue. Where the people who are well off staying on the strip, with all the glitz and glamour.

6/?) The society that house wants is very much like Bioshock's Rapture before the riots. Where there is no government or religion to tell you what to do. Where 100% of your money goes to you.

5/?) But we also know is that some cravens prefer to go through legion territory because its safer then NCR, that there are a lot less gangs/raiders on legion roads. The actions of the legion are unquestionably wrong, they seem to be having an effect on taming the wasteland.

4/?) Ceaser's Legion are a faction of slavers who rule with an iron fist. We see the brutality of them across the wasteland, in places like Nipion where we see people nailed on crosses on the verge of death, unable to be saved.

3/?) they are at a point to where the New Vegas branch of the NR are strained on both resources and soldiers. They are struggling against Ceaser's legion who overall have weaker weapons but the legion has the bodies to over run the NCR.

2/?) The NCR want to try and go back to America before the bombs, with Democratic elections and such. While at first it may seem like the best option the game trys to show the multiple flaws with it. The NCR has a massive problem with over expanding to new territory,

1/?)I can kinda understand where that take comes from but what I would like to give a bit of an essay in response that i hope you read. the debate that New Vegas is having with the 3 main factions(The NCR, Ceaser's Legion, and House) is what type of society would be best for the wasteland.

Also side note. the mc in New Vegas is referred to as the courier because the fallout series doesn't give cannon names to the player character but titles to refer them by when talked about in promotional material. Another example of this is the mc in 4 is referred too as the sole survivor.

4/4) There are a couple other choices when it comes to the encounter but the point I'm trying to make is that the devs tried to give you plenty of options so that you make the choices you want as the courier and get into role as the courier.

3/4) Another potential choice path is if you mc is a girl who has the perk called black widow you can seduce him, once seduced you get 2 options, you can either get revenge on him, or just go to sleep because your motivation for finding Benny was to sleep with him.

2/4) you can attempt to convince him to talk in private, if you convince him to meet in private you can either attempt to kill him, if the players motivation was revenge, or have a conversation with him if your motivation for finding was to try and get answers.

1/4) I would say the mc's main motivation for finding Benny is dependent on the player themselves. When it comes to the encounter with Benny at the tops casino there are a whole range of outcomes that are determined by the players and their motivations for Benny...
