🚨🚨🚨NEW BONUS EPISODE ON PATREON🚨🚨🚨

KRUFASA

i'll level with ya this one pretends to be a thoughtful deconstruction of two films so mid they become worse than bad but it's really just me justifying one of my assorted bad film-watching decisions.

You can now listen to all three episodes of Going Overboard, our miniseries on the Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy! Please listen to it! I worked really hard on it! I know the official podcast account is meant to be a bit more professional than this but c'mon, give it a listen!

Next Sunday, we are doing another of our rare episodes about a very good movie that came together on an insanely tight timeline.
April 27, 2024 at 11:29 PM
Margaret does not wear this costume at any point in the film (it is similar to her costume from Frank's BBQ, but that has spaghetti straps). Layne *did* wear it for her EPK interview & it was also included in her post about most of her scenes ending up on the cutting room floor.
April 9, 2024 at 6:04 AM
Layne and her on-screen husband, Ari'el Stachel were also on-set for the final scene in Victory, just before Alice floors it across the desert for the car-chase.
April 9, 2024 at 6:04 AM
(there are also some incredible paparazzi shots from that shoot day, where Layne barrels the pap's camera like he owes her money.)
April 9, 2024 at 6:03 AM
Margaret also appeared at the Anniversary Party at the Dollhouse Night Club in the script - and Margaret was at the very least in this scene in the film, because Kiki Layne shared behind the scenes photos from the club.
April 9, 2024 at 6:03 AM
First up, the script: this is from the February 2020 draft, at the country club shortly after Jack's "we could lose this" speech.

DON'T WORRY DARLING: MARGARET'S CUT SCENES

We mention in the our Don't Worry Darling episode that, in an early draft of the script, Margaret returned after her apparent death, and that at least some of the scenes after her return were shot. Here's how we know.
April 9, 2024 at 6:01 AM
also: we won an Australian Film Critics Association award for our episode on The Creator!
March 26, 2024 at 11:41 PM
Tomorrow's episode on DON'T WORRY DARLING is our longest yet (90mins) but you don't have to have seen the film to listen: we cover the plot in detail as it evolved from a Black Mirror-esque spec script written by Dick van Dyke's grandsons to the final, confused film.
February 23, 2024 at 11:44 PM
Next Sunday, we're diving (possibly too) deep into Don't Worry Darling, from its origin as a spec script written by Dick Van Dyke's grandsons, to why it appealed to Olivia Wilde as a post-Trump film about how people can't just stop paying taxes.
