My husband and I were dozing off before midnight so we quickly logged in to ACNH to use the town square as a countdown so we didn’t fall asleep. 😂

Rosie the dachshund comfortably curls up at the foot of a bed in the guest room to snooze in a sun spot with the light coming from one of the windows. Behind Rosie is a tall dresser with a fake plant and a stack of books. There are two windows, one on each visible wall, and the pull-down blinds are down halfway while the curtains around the window have a warm soft glow from the sun. Shrubs can be seen out one of the windows. The light is warm and comforting despite it being cold, late winter outside.

Miso, the American short hair cat, leans on the top of a wooden dining chair with his front paws while his back paws keep him stable on the dining table. He leans forward, trying to get a good look out the large window at the bird feeders on the backyard in hopes of catching sight of any birds. His tail is curled in the air with a bit of curiosity. The golden light of the summer sunrise brightens up the sheer white curtains around the window and casts light and shadow onto the dining table.
