It’s just 2 hours in but this course is playing much tighter than expected.

I expected the course to play close to -5, but it looks like it will be playing closer to -3

With slightly more wind, the course tightened up today. Favorable pin locations still led to a very easy round, with an average of -2.25

Weather for Round 2 of the Hero World Challenge from Windy.

Expect the course to play pretty similar to round 1, with an average closer to 70 than 69

Course ended up playing 69.05, with only 6 golfers scoring higher than a 69.

This will likely be the lowest round of the weekend, with higher winds expected the rest of the tournament

With low winds like this, do not be surprised to see the average score between 68-69 tomorrow

One of my favorite ways to determine how to play birdie or better lines is to look at how the holes play across a whole tournament.

The Hero World Championship has some very easy holes, with the 16th averaging nearly 3 birdies every 4 rounds.

Round 4 of the RSM Classic played much more difficult than expected. Looks like the Sunday scaries may have gotten to a few of the golfers

I predicted an average around -3.5, which looks to be well off now.
