That's *very* fair. It would definitely be a prime candidate for AI-slopification lol.

I'm not saying the song is wack, but its placement most definitely is. No way it should be number 1.

If she were truly sorry, again, she'd fuck off and write Black, queer, immigrant, non-Christian, and communities affected by school shootings a check. And until she does, its fuck her.

Anything other than that is just noise. Anything other than that is complicity in her bigotry. Anything orher than that isn't justice at all.

Folks that are looking to redeem MTG are missing that component. Any "redemption" that she is to receive HAS TO come with accountability for her actions, reparations for the communities that she's harmed, and removal from platforms and positions that will enable her to do more harm.

Franchesca Leigh had a great response to questions about MTG's redemption arc that I think is worth checking out. Piggybacking on her response: the primary focus of restorative justice is to restore the COMMUNITY THAT WAS HARMED while not perpetuating the cycle of harm through punitive action.

If MTG truly cared about the communities that she's hurt and truly learned any lesson, she wouldn't run for re-election and would take her ass back to Rome, GA to sit at home and observe from the fucking sidelines. But she won't because she is a grifter using public empathy to her own benefit.
