education is important, i hope these pop-up libraries remain orthogonal to bricks-and-mortar libraries (i.e. the more permanent ones) and that these more temporary libraries will never replace their permanent counterparts

Generally #Halloween in #Singapore involves decorations put up by shops. And #Halloween - themed merchandise being sold in stores.

we don't have much of a #Halloween culture in #Singapore.

it's not that nobody 'celebrates' it, but it's much more commercial here

it added some activity to an otherwise quiet neighbourhood, and we saw some truly creative costumes (as well as #Halloween decorations)

even though we (fiancee and i) didn't participate, it was always nice to see a bunch of kids / young teenagers all dressed in interesting costumes and visiting houses to do #TrickOrTreat
