Bonus points to Chile for having libraries at their underground metro stations! #publiclibraries

It is. I’m reading this atm and it’s very good; definitely going to check out her other books. Have you read any of her stuff?

Tonight, I have been mostly watching Mark & Lard 😊

I watched this yesterday instead of the Wales match and it was far more entertaining. Saw the score afterwards and was unsurprised. Asked my dad (who was at the match) if there were any positives?:
“No”.

Both Annie Bot and The Horse are on my tbr pile. I love Willy Vlautin’s writing. I don’t have a top 5 but this would definitely be in the top 2:

Read this in one sitting. Knew it wasn’t going to have a happy ending but the writing makes you want to read to the end anyway. Fantastic read.

This week, I have been mostly buying tickets for this 🎉 pethathethathethChrisWaddle 😄

This week I have mostly been in Iceland with my family. Beautiful country but does leave you needing a lie down when you get the food bill. We saw whales and dolphins (cue Terrorvision song!) and some fantastic churches.

Am reading this. Not something I’d normally choose but the storyline intrigued me and so far, it’s very good:

This was a great read. The parts about his time in Wales are very interesting. He’s got Gatland well and truly sussed too.

Recent book purchases: (the one on the left is a visual history about the Miners’ Strike both are going to be good reads!)

I’m currently reading this. So far I’m enjoying it but some reviews have said the second half is rubbish so I’m slightly apprehensive about it going downhill! (Though I loved ‘Pew!)

Currently reading this, which is great and really interesting. It’s led me to watch all sorts of videos on YouTube, including the one they say is the worst, ‘Rock Me Tonite’ by Billy Squier (which, after watching, I concur. It’s awful 😂):

Being confined to bed means that I can at least carry on reading this, which is really interesting (and recommended if you enjoyed ‘Swan Song’)

Was really shocked by this in the Guardian yesterday. Am sadly used to cuts to library services but this is extraordinary (and awful):

This was a great read. Going to add his Montpellier Parade to my ‘to read’ list and hope it’s as good.

Ignore the cover, this is a weird and wonderful read (or bonkers and brilliant, if you want to put it another way 😄)
