I'm probably just an old grump then 😅 Having Tennant back also meant the episode was going to have to work really hard to make me like it because he's my least favourite of the new Whos.

That puppet was great until [spoilers] but then it looked all kinds of silly and I kind of wish they'd just done it with a slight change in body language and tone of voice. I loved the big green dudes though.

Oh damn, I just flashed back to one of my earliest nightmares I remember. Not enemies *from* a game per-say, but those black and white spikey monsters from the side art of the space invaders arcade machine? I remember seeing it in Blackpool on holiday and then dreaming about them killing people.

It came on the cover-tape of a magazine, probably around 1991 so I was 9. It was first person and you had to keep switching between team members and if the aliens got you that screen was just static. I never played Alien Breed but I remember the box for it...

Also in the UK censored version of Zombies (ate my neighbours) the lumberjacks with axes terrified me. I played the non-censored version a couple of years later where they have chainsaws and weirdly found them much less terrifying.

They look really dumb now, but the aliens in Aliens:The Computer Game freaked me out so flipping much
