here's how support mage rpg is coming along. as you can see, the equipment you choose will actually matter for each area you tackle (as a rule of thumb, harder enemies resist sharp weapons while softer enemies resist blunt weapons)

finally decided to try to make the game look better and draw some background assets. i had to relearn how to use stamp brushes in krita so i dont have to draw every individual blade of grass like i did before :o

revamped the spell system a bit and implemented spells that temporarily replace your base attack with something else. also implemented spells that can absorb other spells to boost its effects.

spent this week making various visual effects to make the game look cooler (a breakthrough i had was when i realized i can use the icons for particle effects too). i also worked on bosses but i'm not showing that today :P

it's my birthday! recently i realized that there was an unused version of stella rising's epilogue theme that i never shared, so here it is! i was planning to touch it up a bit before releasing it, but i couldn't get alter/ego vst to work on linux mint :(
