Ages ago I went on a date where I was asked to leave only to then 10 minutes later be gifted a clown shaped ash tray that the person had made. Today it’s one of my go to stories so I hade to make my own clown ash tray in honor of that wild day.

I really don’t want 12 portraits of myself- instead I thought I’d do portraits of the people I care about. Angela’s the most badass person I’ve met. When they’re not advocating for disability rights or coaching wheelball they are exceptionally funny and generous and kind. I hope you have an Angela.

Working on loving art again so once a month I will be making a portrait of myself or someone I love in a different medium. Last month was a portrait of myself made of tea.
