I’m wondering which of Trump, Vance, or Miller will be the first to say “…then let the judge enforce their block.”

I’ve heard similar about Demaecan, come to think of it. I’d still worry about the pressure and fees imposed on the restaurants, if any.

The last time I needed to use Uber in the states, I called a local friend who does gig work. I told him the price Uber quoted and just paid him directly. 😁

I honestly can’t see ever using Uber Eats or any similar service. I have strong feelings about the business model and unethical practices of pretty much every player in the industry. I’d rather order directly or pick it up myself.

That sounds like an utterly moronic system. A driver should be committed to the order *before* the order is transmitted to the store. Otherwise, any order filled by a store that is not picked up (or even delivered) within a set timeframe should be fully paid for by Uber.

The degree of professionalism in the Guard isn’t so that different from the active duty side of the house, and the degree of maturity is overall much higher.

Good point; in the 24 hours or so before this kicked off, everything in the news was about the Trump/Musk fight and Musk’s comment about the Epstein files.
