Amazon should never have been allowed to open up a medical service in the first place. Hopefully this will get it shut down.

Round 2! If I were a religious person, I would say someone is trying to tell us something 😅

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m sorry, you are just hilarious boiling the cost of living to a buying a new car. Pick up a book.

At least I understand the history of what I talk about. And am realistic about how I got where I am. Because I assure you, out stories are not much different but our attitudes towards our peers and younger certainly are.

You don’t even read. That’s enough of you. Minimum wage was not created in the 80s, and I said -until the 80s-. Apparently you don’t know history because what happened from 1975-1980? Seriously. Learn something.

I would, frankly, be afraid of having my doctor be someone who bases their reality on anecdotes and ego. A large number of ppl work very hard and are still poor. Aside from the handful of goof offs you supposedly still know, full days work and living on the street is a failure of an economic model.

Minimum wage was intended by Roosevelt as a minimum standard to support a family of three - which it did until the 1980s. The original minimum wage was $.25 cents an hour. None of what you just said was true. Curious for someone to be so wrong who put themselves through medical school, honestly.

Not everyone grows up to be a doctor, that doesn’t mean they aren’t hard working and don’t deserve to buy boots. We aren’t talking about buying a $2m home here, we are talking about buying a basic need that doesn’t need to be replaced every 6m. Maybe examine why this concept is so offensive yo you.

And completely ignoring monetary success metrics - a full day of work should provide enough for a roof over your head, food, transportation and basic living expenses. That is what Minimum wage was created for. It does not meet that function in 2024.

There are millions of hard working people in the US in poverty. The ‘lazy if you’re poor’ trope has been dead, buried, dug up, burned, and thrown into the ocean at this point. There are, however, demonstrable welfare traps, including government subsidies themselves.

We actually have several cobblers, and repair shops near lower income areas here in the US. The seamstress closed down not too long ago though. Also, 3 laundromats. Results may vary across the US though, its a big place.

If that’s how you make your algo for yourself. Mine is about 90% pure science & photography, 10% politics.

In the US, a wait time of 6+hrs is not a rare occurrence.

I just end up half paying attention and cleaning or cooking or something for the bad ones. They become ‘chore watches’

We are getting what we asked for. We deserve every moment of this.

Ah yes, time to celebrate Bush’s revenge fantasy that had nothing to do with 9/11 and lead to decades of instability in Iraq. What a great job we did there.

We jail every other narcotics dealer, why aren’t these people in alongside their kind?

There’s no cap for poor and middle class people, why is there a cap higher up?

An apology is far from enough here.

After watching multiple cars driving 50-70 on a city street here, I have changed my mind on photo radar. It is past the point of individual cop tickets.
